Eugenia Siero
founder

Eugenia, was born and raised in Venezuela, moved to New Orleans after high school to study English. She received a full scholarship to the University of New Orleans, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Film, Theatre, and Communications. She later obtained an MBA with a concentration in Arts and Nonprofits, combining her creative background with a solid foundation in business.
In 2015, Eugenia relocated to Washington, DC, to explore a career in theatre administration. At the same time, she continued to work as a nanny, following a lifelong passion for childcare. With over 15 years of experience in the field, she quickly recognized a pressing need for skilled nannies and caregivers in the DMV area. Eugenia gained valuable experience caring for children in high-profile households, which inspired her to focus on professional nannying full-time.
In 2017, Eugenia founded District Sitter, a nanny placement agency aimed at setting a new standard in childcare services. Her mission is to build a reliable support network that serves parents, nannies, and children with the utmost care and professionalism. District Sitter emphasizes an inclusive and loving approach, attracting a community of childcare professionals who uphold the highest standards of work ethic, integrity, and compassion.
